About SCHS Internships
Program Goal
The Career Exploration Internship Program is designed for seniors at Springfield Catholic High School with 24 credits or more, who would like to explore a career area. Students work on developing interpersonal skills, decision-making, and information-processing skills, while developing a variety of employability skills. Students are provided a great understanding of the connection between education and the achievement of their career goals.

The aim of this program is for enrolled students to:
Identify career objectives and define necessary steps in achieving their objectives.
Identify the importance of good attendance and promptness as it relates to the intern experience and future career plans.
Have the opportunity to gain real workplace knowledge and an understanding of career and educational options as a result of their intern experience.
